The only controversy here is that you don’t know what controversy means!

Controversial? He slugged him then obviously spit on him, wheres the controversy?

When i reffed I’d tell people if you swing and miss it’s still a red. In this case, if you swing, miss and the guy acts like he’s going to die... you still get a red.

I'm not sure why you are using controversial?! The white jersey player turn and throws a punch, should have been a straight red card no questions asked....

How on earth anyone can find that controversial?

There’s no controversy. He took a swing 😆 straight red

For anyone who can't see, like some of the previous commentators apparently, this is what happens:-
• The blue player pulls the white players sleeve
• The white player throws his elbow back and looks to make contact with the blue players face
• The white player turns and hits the blue player on the torso.
Correct decision would be:-
• Free kick to white team
• Yellow card for blue player
• Red card for white player.

Only problem is the fact that none of his boys stood up for him. Tough.

At 0:29 I see something happening can't tell what that makes blue fall into white then white elbows blue before he falls to the ground.

I would have pulled a red too, know it wasn't a punch but still enough for a red, even in the last min. He deliberately makes an aggressive force toward the opponent, causing a stoppage of progression. Red card first, middle, and last min of the game in my book.

I’m scared to wonder what two teams went against each other

With the title of the video I thought it was talking about the 2 footed tackle that doesn’t win the ball

The slide tackle at 0:20 was more deserving of a red than anything.

The only controversy here is that you call it Overtime instead of Extra Time... And that you guys are playing on an American football pitch...

Looked like 2 decent teams 'knocking' the ball around, afew tired legs given the OT, when your no 21 man steps up with an attempted knock out. Cheap shot and the spit at the end is something you just don't get taught as a kid.

This all could have been avoided if the referee called obstruction on 21 white first when he did it. The ball was not within playing distance and he (21 white) impleaded the blue player first before the blue player ran up the back of 21 white.

When a referee don't know he can still give a red card even after the game is finished

He never spat on him he shouted at him. Absolute drama queens on this 😂

That is absolutely a foul at 0:23, and should have been a DFK for white. Touching the ball "first" does not absolve you of the foul, and believing otherwise is just not supported in the LOTG. That was clearly a careless tackle that took out the white player by direct contact that was not shoulder to shoulder (which is the only physical contact allowed in the LOTG), therefore a foul.
