At least change Ctrl+B with Ctrl+A to save your wrists. Still easy to look up keybinds.

On the other note, such tools are beautiful because they can be tailored to you. It's like any other instrument in real life - you develop personal relationship with them and stop being just a consumer.

I have a mixed opinion about this.
I agree, the default keybinds are absolutely dreadful, and customising them makes it so much nicer to use.

However, this does create the problem of not knowing how to do tmux things on a system that is not yours (some server on premise or in the cloud).

I don't actually have a solution to this other than "learn the defaults" and leaving your own config with the defaults is a good way to do this.
But I still prefer my own keybinds for my own system.
