We need this kind of teacher, I hope you can tutor me. I really don't get whats my prof's teaching right now, she's fast and suddenly moving on the next topic w/out understand the lessons and when I take the test, I know I'm doomed....
I hope she realized that people have different style of learning. Just because someone understands it doesn't mean everyone understand it.

Anyway, thanks for your tutorial! Be safe and God bless! :D

Your voice is nice and really easy to listen to and it makes me feel like less of an idiot for not understanding. Thank you :)

May you add more videos about how to improve precise definition of a limit? I very like your videos, and it helps me a lot! Thanks for your sharing!

OMG. You have a very brilliant mind!!!! You helped me a lot. I can't understand my calculus professor that's why I had to look for alternative way to learn, and fortunately it was your videos!!!! =)

I never understood how to graph piece wise functions or the problems until I watched your video, thank you so much!

actually lim for x->0 exists here, it's 1 for x->0^- and 3 for x->0^+ cause the function brokes on 0 and it gives 2 different values on the same point, just depending on which side we are closing to the 0.

(sorry if my math-english isnt perfect, i'm not a native speaker)

Hi, I'm confused when you found the limit as x approaches 0. I understand when looking at the graph that there is a jump so it DNE, but if I were to just plug it into the function without making a graph, (2x+3), how do you know that it isn't 3? Thanks for the great videos!

Thank you. I didn't understand the Piece-wise graph. I can understand my homework.

Just found this! Thank you so much man, you deserve so much more than just words, but I'm running broke to do otherwise

Hey! Awesome video!! These videos totally helped while I was taking calculus. There are a few mistakes in the captions that would really help people out who can't hear! Only a few small things I noticed, such as instead of y-intercept positive 1 it should be y-intercept AT positive 1. Thanks!

You have made me wanna try these before watching the videos.

the limit does not exist if the graph brakes. a function cannot have two different values for a limit, the function must be continuous at a certain point in order for the limit to exist. the function x²+1 is continuous at -2 there for the limit of 5 exist

How do i find calue of k as i was a given a piecewise function of kx square where x is less than or equal to 2 and when x is more than 2. So that the function continuous?

Hi! I'd like to know what if the piecewise function has no RHL(no equation if x is greater than the value that the limit approaches) ? Does the limit still exist?

great video, thanks!
why doesnt the limit exist at x=0? i mean, the function is defined as 2x+3 for x=0..but not defined as x^2 +1 for x=0....so at x=0, we just have one value of g(x), right? please reply :)

at the end.. what if the question was find f(0)? would you put both 1 and 3 as the solution? or dne?

According to our basic calculus professor, never put an equal sign if the limit is DNE(does not exist), because it's not a value

How can you prove lim of 0 algebraically?
