After 1957, under Congress rule Gujarat has seen appeasement of the minority, anemic growth and did not realize its full potential. Mr. Yogendra yadav is full of frustration. Demonetization in his terms might seem like a disaster, but common public on the street felt that its a shock to black marketers, illegal money launderers, terrorists, etc. It also helped taking India to the biggest digital economy in the world and this has resulted in efficient management of finances by a common man. For example, a street vendor who does a daily business of 1000/-, out of which if he gets 30-40% as digital money tends to result in lot of savings. This is a game changer in changing the economic habits of the people, ultimately helping lives of the people. A great leader is someone who brings the change in the behavior of the people that effects their financial well-being and upliftment. I don't think Modi would have simply ignored the down side of this decision, it must have been a challenging decision. Unfortunately, these so called left liberals don't see the brighter side of any change for their political gains.
