I'm honestly so jealous of some people's interior design skills, especially with such limited space. Somehow they figure out how to make every inch of their space look beautiful and flow nicely. If I were to describe my home I would call it "cozy, " but I would be so happy if I could figure out how to make it look this stylish.

I Watch a lot of NYC rental videos. Most of them are empty rentals and are tiny places that cost outrageous. But seeing her’s and seeing how it’s actually doable, cute and functional makes $1, 600 sound not so bad! 😅

Ha! I live in that building! It's Tudor City right by the UN. Her apartment is one of the old studios. The larger apartments are the combination of several units. I have a large two bedroom. I own it, no idea what it would rent for.

It's a great building. Built in 1924, it's what we New Yorkers refer to as a "pre-war building" (i.e., build before WWII). They are desirable because it was before the use of dry wall, and all the interior walls are made of poured concrete, and, as a result, are incredibly sound proof.

It's also has a 24 hour doorman. The building is an historic landmark. Great views of midtown Manhattan. I wake up each morning to the glint of the sun reflecting off the Chrysler Building.

Great police presence with the UN right across the street, and a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. Tudor City Place actually forms a bridge over 42nd St.
