Criterion Closet Picks (Selection Series #1)

This is the test episode for a new segment that my buddy Cris and I would like to start, where we choose a selection of Criterion films and discuss each of them in depth with our recommendations. Since it is November, we decided to pick our themes of holidays, family, and that bitter, bitter cold. And just in time for the Barnes and Noble Criterion sale! Let me know what you think!

I loved this video!! Such a creative spin for the Criterion month. The dialogue between the two of you was great, as were your picks. I just picked up Dekalog after so many people have been suggesting it. The Squid and the Whale is one of my favorites from NB as is Frances Ha. Wild Strawberries is one of my favorites from Bergman- it's such an interesting way of telling that story. Really, really enjoyed this segment. Well done, guys. 👏👏👏👍👍

Awesome video! Criterion should invite you guys to their closet and let you snag free blurays :-) Massive pick with the Dekalog. I got the arrow box set and seriously need to sit down and watch the whole thing. Once again, excellent collection!
