Lineart in Procreate! | Draw with Me!

Hello hello!
I wanted to show you guys the process I go through whenever I do choose to do lineart on Procreate! It is a bit different compared to when I worked in Ibispaint and in Paint Tool SAI/CSP! 16:24 there’s an option somewhere in the settings that enables such a thing, basically it will set it so that you hold down the button in the middle of the opacity and brush size and then hover over a line and it will take you to its layer!

Omg... With the "reference layer" you just change my life- I thought you just can't do it on procreate and I coloured always all by myself because the selection was so bad .----.

Hi there! Just found your channel and I'm loving it.

In ~ 19:19 I believe there's an easier fix for this:
swipe 3 fingers down > copy all > swipe 3 fingers down again > paste.
Or you can click the gear > add > copy canvas and then paste.

That should copy whatever is visible on your canvas and place it on a new layer without running the risk of losing all your previous layers in case procreate crashes (it has happened to me).

I have used paint tool sai for years, and Im always impressed how the lineart is better in procreate, every makes it looks so easy and faster than in SAI

I have so much to learn with procreate. I’m a traditional artist and blending is so much easier on paper but the cool thing with digital art is that you can add so many cool affects. I’m completely lost with procreate, I don’t have a clue where to start with blending and coloring. I’ve looked at so many tutorials and they all have different methods and tbh I don’t know which one is best. Anyways I love your art it’s amazing
