Inarius was told to kill them and Lilith wanted to kill anyone that threatened sanctuary so Lilith started taking out all other angels and demons that threatened it Inarius thought she went too far as he thought it better to make them weaker over time so when he banished her to the void and started to weaken them some rose up against him and he killed them that's why when she came back she wanted to take out the prime evils and got so mad at Inarius for killing their first born

Good intentions often paved the way to hell, this game fulls that statement 100%. If inarius would of accepted his fate and saw to his first intentions of keeping the world he made into an actual sanctuary. And let the neph flourish it would be interesting to see how the neph would rule, in the long run with them having both natures, how things would balance out

So Inarius wants to kill everyone so he can selfishly ascend back into the high heavens, while Lillith wants to use everyone to get back into hell.

I noticed three things that is causing people to dislike Inarius, besides his holier then thou personality.
Those being the nature of angels and demon, our interactions and view of him in game, and Lilith being more attractive then him.
On the scale of morality, it usually goes demon/human/angel. There is also there affect on the mortal world, with demons causing chaos and sun to run rampant, and angels create order and protection. Inarius is a angle who through wanting to stop fighting, is lowering himself to the morality of humans, and being seen as a downfall, while Lilith, who wants to escape the endless violence, rises on the morality scale, being seen as growing. This, along with how Inarius through his actions created a way to fight off corruption and be seen as forgiving leads to a disconnect that makes us as players, who can see his whole character, dislike the prideful, egotistical, and rash angle.
As we see him more through the games and stories, we judge him as a angle, and see how imperfect this being who should be better then a human, acts. We also see how people in universe revere him, making us expect him to be a stereotypical angle, and when we see his actions in person he come across as a spoiled man-child. But his presence causes people who are suffering to from the corruption of mortal hearts, cleaning away demons and healing the broken. Making him a holier then thou asshole who acts like a insane egomaniac bring some semblance of security to humanity.
And lastly, Lilith is so much hotter then Inarius. Inarius is a badass looking angle, but he has nothing soft, nothing natural, and is essentially a living suit of armor. Lilith is a succubus, and we know how attractive women are treated on the internet, so this makes Inarius not as physically appealing.
