Hey bud, great video, but I have a question. Soon I'll upgrade to ryzen 7 3700x (x570 taichi) and with it I'll upgrade my rams too, my goal is to get some 3600mhz cl16, but these sticks are really pricy in Italy, so what's better: buy 3200mhz cl16 sticks and overclock them to 3600, or buy 3600mhz sticks with cl18 and then reduce the timings?

Hey Fabio. For Intel do I need a "K" cpu and a Z370 to access memory timings?!
I was thinking about going for a I5-9400F + B360. I know it's limited to 2666mhz but I couldn't find any mention about memory timings.
Maybe I should just wait for the Ryzen 3600 but I'm afraid they will come to Brazil with an absurd price!

this is a great start to over clocking would like to see 2nd half simple step by step video I find overclocking confusing, not to sure if too much ram is no good but I have 64 gigs my start up time is 40 sec. on a new asrock x570 phantom gaming x build it should be 20 sec. or less with a m.2 drive I updated bios and still 40. sec. startup I keep thinking if I overclock my ram it might fix it ? also not sure if wide screen will cause problem getting into bios but now have that problem on both asrock builds but did download asrock bios app to force bios to open on startup . any help would be great I would hate to take out 2 sticks of ram it just looks complete with 4.... LOL

I honestly thought this would be simple, kinda like tell it how much output I want and boom it does it but. Boy was I wrong. This video helped alot and encouraged me NOT to overclock my PC because I have no idea what any of the systems I have are or what anything does. This video definitely saved me a huge pain in the ass and even taught me some cool new things. I appreciate the hard work you put into this video and for taking the time to stress out all the details that matter most. Nothing bothers me more than a person who glosses over key info and expects you to somehow know it all. Again thanks a bunch for being thuro and detailed.

Where in the bios do you increase the SoC voltage? I keep getting crashes after my RAM overclock and I saw you're recommending to increase that SoC voltage but didn't find it (I have an Asrock B450 Pro4 but I imagine there isn't much difference compared to yours in the bios menu).
