I just got the same model. It seems that the lever you push down to change blades on yours is metal? Seems at some point they replaced the metal with a gray plastic lever. I'm sure it would never break. Yep, I'm

When I use mine, it seems to pivot the blade 90 degrees when pushing on it. Does yours do that or is mine probably deflective?
