I want to provide two video responses to question I received. The first one was regarding generic Wellbutrin not working as effectively as brand name. To that person who commented on this topic this video is for you and thank you for braining it to my attention.

When I was on bupropion, I had to have my doctor write "dispense as written" on my medication because the generic version just didn't work. It used to cost me out of pocket $80 a month for the brand name Wellbutrin since my insurance wouldn't cover it since a generic version is available, which isn't fair considering I didn't have a choice. If the generic doesn't work, how is that my fault? They needed to be inspected to see what was really in those tablets. Generic medications have worked for me for other drugs, but that Wellbutrin must be sensitive or something. It's nice to know (well, sort of) that other people have experienced this, and that it wasn't just "in my head" or something. I hope they fix that so that more people don't have to suffer like I did when the change to generic happened.

I’m taking generic Wellbutrin. Ever since feb 2023. It smells horrible. I can’t stand to open the bottle. My pharmacist smelled their own unopened bottle and I saw on their face it was horrible smell. I took my bottle to my dr and he agrees it smells horrible. Idk where to go with this information. I realize this video was posted years ago

Surprised I didnt know about the dose dumping in relation to seroquel xr/quetiapine. I was previously on it for a short period before going back to the standard/IR tablets. Also I found an interesting recall that happened around december 2020 with Sildenafil and Trazodone tablets being packaged together which most the news made a bit of a joke of but I guess that would be a slightly different situation to the dose dumping you explained here?

Was on BUPROPION HCL XL 150 MG, on the 26 day I had a horrible itch on both palms and eyes. And then after the 30 days I went up a dose, BUPROPION HCL XL 300 MG for 15 days and on day 9 had a terrible itch on my palms again and it traveled to the bottom of my foot. On day 10 (today) again itch palm, then traveled to my foot + I broke in hives all over my chest, neck and parts of my stomach. And both days happened at night

I lost about 50 pounds my first year on it (buproprion 300 xl) without exercise, I just didn't have the appetite or interest in food and I could get full from a few bites of food and not want it anymore. It's been 3 years in it and I've gained all 50 of those pounds back plus another 50. My appetite is out of control, and I'm constantly thinking about food and what I will eat next. I have zero energy. When I work out, I just get even more tired and hungry. Don't know what to do anymore, but feel like it's ruined my metabolism.

Another question. What painkiller other than Tylenol, naproxen, or advil? Say you go into surgery, what do you take?

3 apotex bupropion pills caused repiratory infection symptoms and chest pain. Resolved itself after stopping. I would have liked some added benefit or relief of HSDD but did not continue.

The active ingredients of generic drugs are chemically identical to the name brand equivalent. The only possibly difference between name brand and generic, one which is immaterial, is that the binding chemicals which are used to manufacture the pill might be different. So says my pharmacist -
And if anybody would know, then it would surely be a pharmacist.
The name band companies of course want to deny the facts because they want to maintain the highest profit margin possible.
