I have been to your office and gotten a few procedures - all amazing! My skin is able to tolerate very strong retinoid without any irritation. What is the strongest brand/name of retinol that you recommend? Thanks!

The best option is to use a retinoid. This ingredient is present in prescription Retin A as well as over the counter retinols. This ingredient will address both active acne and brown spots and increases collagen formation. Another option is glycolic acid, also effective for acne and signs of aging.

Sandra, use a cream with Hydroquinone which will lighten the pigment.
And don't forget your sunscreen. Any sun exposure will re-pigment the area.
