Finally an aboriginal anthem included with the national anthem, it was important that this people be recognized in their specificity, because the aborigines are above all the first inhabitants of Australia.
Aborigines are to Australia what Maori are to New Zealand

not only is it much more culturally impactful and appropriate to sing it in the Eora language, it makes our otherwise boring anthem sound 10x better too. the fact they have not done this again at any major event since is quite laughable

About 5 or 6 years ago the girls and boys of Oak Flats high school performed this at WIN stadium for a Dragons game during the NRL indigenous round. You could have heard a pin drop. Hope the NRL does it for tonight’s Grand Final.
