"Advance Australia Fair" is the national anthem of Australia. Created by the Scottish-born composer Peter Dodds McCormick, the song was first performed in 1878 and sung in Australia as a patriotic song. It replaced "God Save the Queen" as the official national anthem in 1984, following a plebiscite to choose the national song in 1977. Other songs and marches have been influenced by "Advance Australia Fair", such as the Australian vice-regal salute.

Wow, that anthem is gorgeous
The more I learn about Australia the more I love this place
At first I just wanted to do the accent, but now it's one of my favorite country ever
Love to Australia from France 🇫🇷♥️🇦🇺

I love the pure optimism and positivity of this anthem and the fact that all its claims ring true. There's no war this, bombs that, struggle against oppressors, etc. All is swept clean and only the brightness of what Aussies, native or new, make of their downright beautiful land is celebrated -- a wonderful and deserved spirit of promise! I visited in 2009 and was in Sydney harbor on one of their boats for Australia Day-- everyone was so friendly and jubilant; just wonderful.

As an aussie, I can confirm this anthem is unforgettable because of the fact it is always played in primary school assemblies. Also because it’s beautiful

The longer I have been away from Australia, the more patriotic I feel listening to our anthem. Never thought I would miss it, singing it every week in assemblies

Does anybody else remember: Australians all eat sausages, for breakfast lunch and teeeaaa! And if you don’t like sausages there’s always Hungry jacks and if you don’t like hungry jacks there’s always and if you don’t like KFC there’s always a big maaaac

At the start of every school assembly in every school I’ve been in we’ve had to sing this. It just makes me prouder to be an Aussie then I already am, if that’s even possible.
