The beach scene is pivotal because it shows what _could have been_ had Leo and his crew kept their mouths shut and did what they were supposed to do. Everyone could have walked away from this thing happy. But such is the life of a THIEF.

The first minute or so of this is that wonderful scene where Frank (Caan), filthy and exhausted, grabs a chair and a smoke and stares with pride at the biggest safe he's ever cracked. Then it cuts to the beach scene just as the music opens up. One of my favorites from Michael Mann.

Masterpiece. Classic. The greatest Tangerine Dream piece of music. Incredible Edgar Froese on the guitar. R.I.P. Edgar Froese. One of the greatest bands from Germany. A great trio of electronic music. They were very far ahead of their time. Tangerine Dream forever, for life.

Nobody makes better movie music than Tangerine Dream with this one and Risky Business. This was one awesome, hard core movie with Frank the tough as nails thief. The final part where he sends off his wife and then goes all out revenge is one of the most intense scenes ever.

I worked for A off shoot of Glen Warren production at the time this movie was made . We were in charge of dubbing. Ill never forget my colleague saying to me " doesn't that cigarette look like the most satisfying and soul fulfilling thing you have ever scene😃. I have to admit watching that scene again... he was right. Awesome movie 🎥. Highly recommend 👌
