Every year Bluebirds have been nesting in my backyard and park behind my house since 1992 I have alot of house's, Tree Swallows nest also, the juvenile BB will turn adult at 89 days. Egg shells are great to use, I have Purple Martins and they eat them. Maybe one day you can do a video about Martians, im just ten minutes from downtown Nashville Tennessee and glad to see the bluebirds making a comeback, they have been seen at the Nashville airport, they are such a sweet bird to have around as always' thanks for your great information.

I just had some baby blue birds to leave around May 20 and now I have 4 or 5 eggs in my new bluebird house, I love these birds and love watching them build the nest, and it's very quick, then after they hatch it's awesome to watch mommy and daddy feed them and hear them when mommy and daddy are near

A pair of easter bluebirds recently had their 2nd clutch in our birdhouse!
4 babies just left the nest a few days ago it was awesome, she only had 3 the first go round.

I have seem blue birds here in orlando, , I put a bluebird box but they were not interested :( 😞 last year in Austin we have a tone of house sparrows, , , I put a trap and killed a bunch, ,,still never saw any blue birds in austin, , Austin, , , A bewick wren ended up using the nest box

Can I install a light to get color video on my wifi camera? I don’t want to disturb the mom. I have a redwood nest box with 6 eggs, please see my videos. I installed a Wiwa camera. I have western bluebirds in California. I love them. My third successful season but first with camera. The mom and dad and a son roosted in my box since November and then in the Spring the son flew the coop so to speak. I would watch them snuggle together and sleep. It can get into the 40s at night in Palo Alto, CA. They found the box almost immediately after I put it up. They are very resourceful

I just add a bluebird. Drop four eggs in a box as of August 4th. Is that kind of late for a bluebird to have a nest? I'm located in Northeast Indiana and it seems like it's the latest I've ever had a nest.

A snake took over the nest last year and ate all the eggs.This year 5 eggs and I look everyday. One egg left. Don’t know where they are disappearing to. I see the mom in there.
