As a mental health professional, I evaluate people like Swoops as a malignant narcissist; these individuals, when challenged, like Caitlin did when she broke Swoops' record in college, will engage in a vendetta against "their enemy" which is how she sees Caitlin. She is so insecure, she cannot accept that someone could be better than she is. So she denigrates and criticizes her whenever she gets the opportunity. Contrast that to the player ( forgot her name) who publicly congratulated Caitlin when she broke her assist record. Swoops will damage her own credibility to get revenge on Caitlin....it won't work.
