We were in a bad car crash a few weeks ago, where some idiot ran a stop sign and slammed into the side of our car, causing us to swerve and have a frontal collision with an oncoming car. Had my 5 year old son and wife in the back seat, dog in the trunk. We all walked out without serious injury, our baby completely unharmed. Thank God I had a Volvo.

Our XC90 (2020 edition) got rear ended by a bus on a highway. The bus didn’t brake at all because the driver was really tired and reduced reflexes (been driving for 16 hours straight). Our rear (trunk) just caved in a bit. The whole frame didn’t even deform.

Happened to my old C230 model 2005. At a traffic signal, A corolla hit from behind so hard the c230 jumped into the camry infront.
The corolla was destroyed, the camry trunk totally broken. The beautiful old Merc had a parking sensor out of position, but was put back and no harm done. Spectacular experience

I had a volvo v50 and got into an accident with a woman in a mitsubishi suv (dont remember the model). She merged into my cars front wheel arch and scratched my paint a littlebit (it buffed out). Her bumper had a 30x30cm dent and her whole bumper had to be replaced. When the insurance company called me to tell me that her insurance will pay all my damages because it was her fault i told them that there is nothing wrong with my car so all good. This is so accurate. I was driving home one day and saw a ford f-150 total and was like damn what they hit? It was a XC90, and the Volvo just had some scratches on the bumper. I’m like damn it man, I’m so glad I drive a Volvo.

I recently bought a volvo v70 t5 an ex uk police traffic car its built like an old brick shit house plus it looks badass plenty of room with it being an estate I always wanted one ever since I first got arrested by Derbyshire constabulary they cuffed me slung me in the back of their v70 t5 and the power being sucked into the seat as the turbo kicked in that feeling stayed with me and 20 years later I have one 141k miles but with it being ex police its been serviced correctly new turbo brakes exhaust. Sorry to go on but volvos are a masterpiece of motoring
