VERACRUZ Mexico - it SURPRISED US!

Veracruz, Heroica Veracruz, El Puerto de Veracruz - whatever you want to call it, Veracruz Mexico is full of history and culture!

Veracruz Mexico is where you will find the Port of Veracruz, the oldest and most important seaport in Mexico. In this video we are going to walk around Veracruz taking you to the zocalo and down to the malecon where we learn about the history of Veracruz through it’s many buildings, such as the fort, Fuerte de San Juan de Ulúa and the oldest cafe in Veracruz, El Gran Cafe de la Parroquia where we will sip on it’s specialty Cafe Lechero! Of course we make time for a seafood lunch as Veracruz Mexico is known for their seafood dishes as well as take you down to the Aquarium and to check out the Veracruz beaches.

My first trip to Veracruz I stayed at Hotel Macombo on the beach... walking the shoreline and "bobbing the waves" was amazing... For a small fee we had day use of the area with showers after the salty swim. also enjoyed the Aquarium and the people diving for coins... dancers and more! the second time I went it was a little different with even more people! I always loved it there! Thanks for bringing back great memories!! <3

I went there before I came to the US. I think it was late 70’s That place is hot and humid! I was drinking cold water all day until a local told me to get a hot coffee and that did it! Nice to see this city again through your video. Thank you.
