We homeschooled our son for high school . It was the best discussion we made. Got to spend more time with him, and he learned more in homeschooled than public school. Ge learned all the life skills that they don't teach in public school. We also followed up on making change. So many kids can not count back change without using a calculator.

Great reasons you shared! We feel like our children are our responsibility and it's an honor to invest🥰. Going on 12 years homeschooling ☺️

I don’t plan on homeschooling my child(ren) but I love getting inspired by homeschoolers so I can provide supplemental instruction at home with them.

Thank you ❤️

I have considered homeschool for years and with babe #3 on the way, your channel has already encouraged me to follow through with the water birth plan I have wanted! My first grader is staying home this year, following our public schools curriculum, which I am excited to get a taste of at home education as well as tailoring this year to her needs! My preschooler on the other hand is a completely different student so I look forward to these homeschool videos to help me through this new chapter in our family life!! Thank you!!

As a former teacher, who was born into a teacher family, both sisters are teachers 👩‍🏫 👩‍🏫 etc...you get the picture...I hands down cannot argue that homeschooling is incredibly beneficial for SO many reasons. Just like going to a brick and mortar school is beneficial to many as well, it all depends on the individual and the family situation right? 💁‍♀️
We decided, after experiencing the school system for 7 years with my oldest, we decided to homeschool through a distributed learning school. All 3 kiddos home learning, and loving it, I’ve never seen them happier. The relationship I have developed with my children is invaluable, learning together as a unit is an incredible experience.

I How would the get used to a routine like having a job when they grow up, and being under pressure as homeschool is freeing and relaxing?

Your number one reason for homeschooling is the same as mine! Here in Georgia public school required nearly 40 hours a week for even the tiniest kids. I never saw my kids and they never got to play or just be kids. I wanted to be their mom, not just the person who got them dressed in the morning. I also wanted to give them the childhood I thought they needed by making their schooling more efficient and tailored to them. Homeschooling is a win all around!

Spending time with my son is one reason why I want to homeschool. It doesn’t sit right with me that he will be at school for 8 hours when they don’t need to be there that long. I do kind of feel like a lot of people around me think that I’m crazy for wanting that time with him. It seems like we’re in a world where everyone just wants to get away from there kids. Don’t get me wrong though… It’s good to have separation and letting them do their own thing and it’s okay to want to get away and do your own thing. It’s just hard for me to imagine 8 hours a day 5 days a week for 10 months of the year.
Another one of my reasons is because of all of the bullying and school shootings. I definitely get told that I’m being over protective but he’s 4. I don’t really get why we need to let them grow up so fast and having to figure out how to defend themselves at such a young age. I think when he gets older if he wants to go to public school I will allow it though. I just hate that the things I get told with being over protective and that I’m always being told I need to get away from my son for a little bit makes me so self conscious.

Thank you for sharing your homeschooling techniques with all. I’m sure many will appreciate your experiences just as your videos on the entire baby process n needs.
I think that you are awesome and an unselfish person to help others even if it’s one parent out there who wants to homeschool their children. And love your reasonings why you do it also.
Looking forward to more of your videos and wealth of your day.

Homeschooling my two girls has been weighing pretty heavy on my heart for awhile now before all the current covid mess happened. I have pretty much thought the exact same as you with spending more time with my kids, being the one that shapes them and the love of being able to teach their interests and that personalized one on one time. My 4 year old pre-K kiddo is being homeschooled this year and she LOVES it so much she asked me to homeschool her next year with makes my heart so happy and she’s thriving!! ❤️❤️ My 8 year old is currently enrolled with virtual learning through the public school and we just don’t like it at all! It’s 8 hours a day on a computer with hardly any breaks, and she’s miserable and asked to be homeschooled.l so we are gathering curriculum and about to start our homeschool journey with her as well! I’m excited and nervous at the same time! ❤️❤️

One of the main reasons we decided to homeschool this year was that we are knowing exactly what our children are learning. Also I really don’t see how public school will be as consistent with everything going on right now. It would be very hard for my kids to go back and forth from a schedule that is so inconsistent. Our school districts around us are only having kids attend certain days and the whole class will have to be quarantined at home for two weeks if any student in their class has any symptoms close to COVID. That would be horrible for those kids that need some type of consistency. I am looking forward to your videos. Thank you so much for this series!

Thank you so much for sharing. We are doing virtual for now! Before having kids my husband and I talked about homeschooling but then my oldest was diagnosed with autism and needed extra help! Now going into 2nd grade he is academically caught up! My 1st grader has adhd and has a tough time sitting still. I'm going into this school year as we are starting virtual and if it doesn't work I will homeschool!! Can't wait for more of your videos❤

I am so glad that I just discovered this channel! I am homeschooling for basically the same reasons. However, my oldest went to kindergarten last year. Then COVID 19 happened. But now I realize that a big reason to homeschool is that I am not like "hurry up! Get moving! We're going to be late" at the beginning of the day and at the end of the days getting the younger 3 "Hurry up! We gotta get your sister. Oh no, I hope she doesn't think we forgot her." etc. I get anxious about being late. This was almost everyday! Now it's something I really don't worry about any more. :-) So I am glad I found that out.

I am am teacher of over 10 years in Canada. I have to dispute your ideas about public education. Any good teacher differentiates their teaching to suit their learners’ needs. Further, the learning skills you point out like cleaning, and sewing are to be learned outside of school or in electives at the secondary level. I know the standards and curriculum differs everywhere but please give some credit to public education? While homeschool works for some, I am staunchly in favour of the excellent publicly funded education system we have in Canada.
