How YOU can farm a Day 3-5 MAGEBLOOD with the new Nemesis 3! (Path of Exile 3.18)

This strategy somehow managed to elude me for the better part of the last two leagues however before finishing off in 3.17 I embarked in a short test to review the profitability of the Expedition loop. 2 Days later I found myself having earned an entire additional Mageblood from scratch and 85 exalts leftover because of how broken this farm is. Presumably, this strategy will be even more profitable at the start of the league.

I know most of y'all are degenerates who rack up ungodly playtimes and count your success in Magebloods/Week, but how many of you would actually like some insight into more casual friendly strategies that don't require forgetting what the touch of a woman feels like? I make tons just farming the logbooks and selling them off but I always wanted to start running them. I might start this league.

I have used logbooks for the last 2 leagues to farm my mageblood; so some things I would mention:
You need to hit lvl 86 before rog becomes good. having access to high ilvl bases is quite important. same with gwennen, where you can start to roll for influenced bases if you dont wanna buy astragali.
Tujen is, imo, better than dannig, until small currencies start to drop in value. dannig gets better and better the longer the league goes, but I was sitting at 8-10 ex an hour via tujen between monday and wednesday last leaguestart; maybe dannig can beat that, but I personally doubt it. If he does, he does so barely, and vorana is a lot easier to run imo.
running in map expeditions is strictly worse than logbooks, so switch as soon as possible; I have been sniping low lvl logbooks for ridiculously cheap early the last few leagues (5-8c per, even tujen) via livesearches, which is better than just sitting in heist. only issue is leveling up, but if you have a solid build, hitting 86 should be very easy

I guess the basic mapping farming will nicely profit from having sentinels as you can unleash those on the Runic monsters and hopefully get a neat chunk of extra quantity from them

While I'm not your target audience (I'm never farming a Mageblood in a League) I tried to focus on Expedition a bit in 3.17 to learn the mechanic (skipped 3.15) and quickly learned it was one of the most profitable farms given the content difficulty. Learned a lot of great tips here, even though the video's goal was way out of my league. Nice job!

Very like your videos. There is way too little content not aimed toward beginners. I'm nowhere near a day 5 Mageblood player, never gonna be 16hrs/day one too but I had a few leagues when I farmed HH. Still, I'm aiming to push a tad bit more with each new league while not keeping the fun aspect (subjectively for me). Your content feels like crafted for me and for what I want :D

Since this strat is mostly "buy and run logbooks" and logbooks aren't affected by atlas passives, you can start with another strat and then transition into this easily (i.e. without needing to change stuff on the atlas tree). Just thought it's worth mentioning that the whole "in-map" section is not strictly a prerequisite for the main part of the strat. You can do something else first, THEN check Logbook prices and if they look good, go for this if your build can handle it and you like the strat.

Hey Fyre, great video. I was already considering this as my atlas strat but I wasnt sure about build choice, do you think Ele Helix Deadeye will be able to do this efficiently? Planning to swap to Omni TS but depending on the rarity adjustments it could be some time before picking one up and transitioning.

Imo single best build for logbook farming is TR Champ, except for Immune to Chaos and Cannot Evade it can run any and all remnant prefixes, since it neither hits, crits, nor is it an ailment the mobs can become immune to. It also bypasses ward and energy shield, as well as taking substantially less damage from Fortify and Taunt. I did this the past few leagues and I even came to skipping Determination, since the remnant Overwhelm 100% Physical Damage Reduction is so dang common, most of the times armour doesn't actually do anything. Gives space for Purity of Elements though, easy ailment immunity.

@fyregrass - Love your content man. I'm sure i'll be following one of your farming strats or a combination of them to get my Mageblood this league. One thing I would suggest is you check your audio volume levels when you export a video. Try to normalize your levels. The last few videos have been quite quiet. Learning how to dial this is shouldn't be too difficult (especially if you have the same setup all the time) but it is different for each editing software. If this is just a stream capture from Twitch, you probably need to just bring your Mic level up a bit. Also - popfilter for those harsh P's
