Fun little known fact: that old couple shown cuddling as the Titanic sinks is based on Isidor and Ida Strauss. She refused to get on a lifeboat without him, and since at that time of the sinking, men were not allowed on lifeboats, they decided to retire to their room. They were considerably wealthy. Ironically one of their descendants was married to the the Oceangate CEO that died on the Nintendo-controlled submarine that imploded while diving down to see the wreck of Titanic.
