I loved Spice's demeanor towards the judges when she was called safe. She is 100% not taking it seriously, and it's kinda refreshing to see tbh. Her and Sugar came into the competition knowing that even if they both went home episode 1, they already had an established brand that's only going to grow from the show.

Apparently last week when Aura won, she had mentioned her father but it got cut out in the rush to get the show down to 40 minutes (if you re-watch it there's a weirdly edited "I know my father would be happy wherever he is" when she won). So I imagine her exit line had to do with that but now that it was cut out the line makes no sense.

Aura spoke a lot about missed plot points that have been edited out if y’all want to learn more ab her I’d def suggest watching her recent roscoes viewing party. It def more humanized her for me, as I also found her quite annoying previously. In short: Her father took his life in 2019 (something she said her and Sasha bonded ab on the show, she was devastated and quit drag, found drag again in Nashville, got on the show her first try. A week or two before she got the call for the show, she had to be rushed to the ER after an injury while performing (also can’t remember what it was, something w her legs/ hip). She’s also ESL and very insecure about her English for some reason, I never ever would have guessed English was her second language. Another interesting point ab the roscoes thing, she casually mentioned, when asked, she wasn’t the closest with mistress bc she’s intimidated by mistress so mistress decided to then drag her through the mud both when she went to roscoes the following week and on twitter circles proving her point lol. I’m in bed w covid so figured I’d type it out incase anyone else finds it interesting🫡

For me personally, it seems very obvious that they filmed and produced thinking they had 90 minutes to tell the story and then we're forced to edit it down as an after thought . If the season was shot intentionally to only fill 60 minutes it would be a lot better. It doesn't feel was intentional right now. Like you can tell they cut a lot out. If that makes sense

35:35 I love that Danny was the guest cameo! 1) It was so fucking random, didn’t know he was a fan of the show 2) it’s always nice to see tough/machismo men appear on Drag Race. I think it sets a good example for other straight men lol

Darby and I had the exact same thought when Alexis said, “this is the beginning”! (I’m sure that a _lot_ of us did!) Except my altered lyrics went, “This is the beginning! This the beginning of your _Speed_ plot line!”

I CANNOT believe Darby is a Sammy Rae fan. I saw them live with my bf and friends in Charlotte NC for FREE and I could not believe it because of how incredibly talented of a vocalist she is. Not surprised Darby is a fan but BITCH go listen to literally every single song they have done and also covered, you won't regret. Also Jackie Onassis is decidedly her magnum opus diva dawl
