I was walking through the store not too long ago and this great idea came to me that I wanted to share with you all. Thanks for watching and please leave me a thumbs up (or a thumbs down) as well as a comment!

A trick I've picked up is putting a cheap flying disk (Frisbee) in my kit. It can be used as a cutting board, plate, shallow bowl, entertainment, and many other things, without taking up a lot of space or weighing too much.

Great idea. I always carry a couple flexible cutting boards from Dollar Tree to have a clean, dry work surface. Can also be rolled into a funnel.

Love that idea. A clean surface to prepare and eat stream side trout meal. Always have a few items with me while trout fishing in Michigan. There's something special about have fresh trout lunch by a little fire. This is my trout lunch kit: Fire making stuff, couple sheets of foil, couple paper plates, seasoning salt, half stick of butter, can of baked beans and fork/spoon. I build a fire, season and butter trout, wrap trout in foil pouch and open beans. I then place can of beans next to hot coals and trout pouch on coals until both are cooked. My paper plate is burned in fire, when done and i wash out empty can to pack out. Bush's beans make smaller personal size cans of beans that work well...like 6-8oz. Enjoyed your video and hope folks like what i shared 😃👍. Ralph

That is an AWESOME idea - nice work. You could even use a router to put in another handle on the other end of the board and use two tripods to make a super-strong little kitchen worktop.
Love it!

So I'm currently setting in the woods, just finished dinner and I am amazed at how sturdy this table was. Thank you so much for this trick. Please keep up the great work.

Good idea! I always enjoy seeing people think outside the box. Thanks for sharing.

PS: Research has shown that wooden cutting boards have anti-bacterial properties. And, that plastic cutting boards can harbour bacteria in deeps scratches. Pros & cons for using each. I use both in my kitchen.

Good idea. Will look into this. Coincidentally, I just bought 2, just slightly larger cutting boards on sale myself.(Even though I only really needed one).

Thanks for another great diy idea, James. Depending on the size of the handle, you might be able to use a broom handle or old tent poles for the tripod, perhaps even a collapsible broom handle with several sections

Perfect timing. I just bought the stanley two bowl kit. You are the king of pimping out the two cup kit, (I've pointed many people to this) and I would love to see your hacks for the two bowl kit.
