3 tips for new PC owners #shorts

If you're looking to build a PC, I put together some build-lists for you to get started!

If you use 4tb or more, make sure to convert the hard drive to gpt, as its normally formatted to mbrt by default. Mbrt can only read up to 2tb.

Another thing to add! Go into your UEFI setup at boot by pressing F2 or Del (or whatever the screen says), and enable XMP. It's ridiculous how so few manufacturers don't enable XMP by default; with XMP off, it basically throttles your RAM and doesn't let it run to its full capability. Turn on XMP, you're giving up so much potential without it.

The monitor refresh rate tip actually helped a ton! I just set it to the max my monitor supports which is 165hz and now my pc seems way smoother

Make sure to go into Nvidia control panel and check your resolution, refresh rate, but rate to the highest and put the color range to the highest!

Best tips for new PC users:
1. Make sure the CPU has thermal paste between the motherboard and CPU, as these parts often get really hot and you can cool them down using it
2. Install the graphics card on the outside of the case for clean air, the best place is the carpet since it's hard to damage it from falling or being knocked over
3. You don't actually need the case cables to be plugged in, you can just keep them not plugged in since they don't boost fps, not worth your time.
4. Make sure to totally follow these tips carefully and you will get an extra 500 fps in all games, tried it myself.
