ifi's new flagship, $1300 portable amp/dac, the Diablo 2, is a little red devil with plenty of power under the hood. The diablo 2 is full to the brim with tech, and provides all the features and connectivity that most people could ever need, but does all of this justify the eye watering price tag?

Correction, the first cable is USB-C to Lightning, not Thunderbolt (which is actually a Type-C interface)

I was recently demoing the IFI neo dsd2 beside some other amps. It sounded fine. But I couldn't stop thinking about GoldenSound's reveal video and how a company I like messed up. It made me question whether that device has the power it has to boot. I ended up buying something else, not gonna lie its turned me off their products in general.

they lack 2 most important features for me. 1. parametric EQ to fix some dumb decision meking in my IEM (thanks campfire, your incompetence will remain in history) 2nd. a pleasent relaxed sound.
