Helldivers 2 - Failed to join game lobby (Steam Issue) FIX!

Hey, This annoying buy happened to me after the game crashed one time. spend over an hour trying to fix this

Didn't work. Refunded the game. Absolutely ridiculous. This game has been out for months, yet it makes WoW launches look perfect.

Shader cache deleted and did not work for me, the tutorial trick also not work... steam repair was runnung (nope) and i installed the game complete new... i am getting angry. Yesterday all runs perfectly... Helldibers 2 is atm a part time assh*ole. Sometimes it runs right, sumtimes i wish i can hit Helldivers 2 in the Face <, <

i have the status changed when i'm in the tutorial but when i back to the ship it still writed "On main menu"

ALTHOUGH the tutorial did NOT work for me what did work was playing a quick mission since when I return to ship from tutorial it still said i was in the menu BUT when i was in a mission friends could join off of me, plus when i got back from the mission it said i was back on ship so
TLDR; Tutorial method doesnt work for me BUT playing a quick mission lets friends join u even when u couldn't join them before

Y’all aren’t going to like this, but PSN linking my friends account with steam fixed the problem….

May be a correlation.

This worked for me: Win+R > and delete `shader_cache`
