exactly, this is an existing tower built before la' defense was made... the zoned business district was implemented upon the outraged public of the tower in the 70's...Montparnasse is an eyesore stuck in the middle of the historic center of old Paris. If u look at the Paris skyline, the big dark tower is out of place, and this refurb, or much needed alternative to demolishing it in the middle of fragile buildings, the glass overlay will be an intentional upgrade to directly compliment the Eiffel Tower.! It is a great IDEA, and should be implemented, or have a contest of firms to make this bleek out of place tower a wonderful new addition to Paris!!
