I'd like to think that there are universes where the laws of physics are just a little more elegant than in our universe. We are bound by the laws of physics which result in an untold amount of suffering. Maybe existing in these more elegant universes is what the afterlife consists of.

It seems like we are in a loop, the universe exists as we do, the timeline ends when the whole universe explodes, and all the galaxies explode as one, and it starts when the big bang happens again.

It's a perceptual loop, and if this is true, then how do we know, how many times this has already happened. And again, the only thing that counteracts this theory is that I am and everyone is conscious, so why I am I able to remember, be in a moment, and act, know and understand, feel and see now?.

It's all so weird, and for me what's the coolest thing yet is thinking of the universe as a dream, where as you die, you will begin a new dream starting your life completely over, without remembering the past, with or without a different personality, look and everything that makes you a living being.

Also who's to say that we may in future after our death, become a human, why not some animal?. Also this all becomes weird again with that talk about consciousness. Since then nothing makes sense, but remember at least, that in some galaxies that exist, there are rules that are so weird, and make no sense in our Galaxy, but in theirs it does. So make your sense out of this.

What's scary is the theory that there are universes where the conditions or reality is so unfathomable that the human mind cannot comprehend its existence.

i mentioned this years ago to someone in jail, where I believe there are many alter realities taking place to find the correct path to proceed with any and all given actions. in a way I do this myself in my head when or before I take action to something or not, is analyze all possible before I act and to which way to act or not to act etc.

It makes sense that life elsewhere could manifest itself in ways that adapt to its own environment. Other worlds might exist, however made up in ways and of combinations unknown to us with forms and environments we couldn’t possibly imagine … 30 days way hotter 30 days way colder our 5 years equals their one year orbit around their star etc.

sean carroll was talking to antonio padilla about "really big numbers" and antonia suggested that the universe is so big and the statistics in such a way that if you travel far enough, in our own universe, you will encounter another milky way galaxy, everything, or nearly everything, completely replicated - so that is not even taking into account an infinite number of OTHER universes.

String theorists used to claim they could derive all the constants of nature without a priori assumptions. The multiple universes idea is how you give up on that aspiration when you have nothing better to offer. BTW ... I'm trying to remember what the prefix "uni" means. Oh yeah. 😂

Most other universes would fail catastrophically if the "constants" were different. We are a product of our own constants, which is why our carbon and oxygen seem perfect to us.
