Best GPU 2019: China's RX 580* CUTE PET by Yeston

We're reviewing the YESTON RX 580 (2048SP) CUTE PET today, a China-only launch made available thanks to the interwebs.

The Yeston RX 580 2048SP 8GB CUTE PET is a video card readily available on AliExpress and similar websites, but not officially sold on US retailers. The card is a "real" video card, in that it's officially using AMD parts and isn't some back alley GPU project. It's different, but does have a somewhat real cooler combined with its cat theme. We think it's a cat, anyway.

Note that this is a 2048SP version of the RX 580, so it's cut down from the 2304SP standard version of the RX 580.

I legitimately love this card, it is ADORABLE.

Can you imagine if flagship cards were like this? If the best RTX 2080ti was an adorable dragon curled around three fan shrouds? If an RX 5700 XT was flocked with greens, yellows and browns, and featured an RGB waterfall?

The rise of RGB shows just how much the Gaming community is crying out for genuine individuality. This is fun, and more importantly different.

Right "MEOW", it ranks as one of the most different and stand out styled cards I've ever seen. Yeston deserves a lot of credit for thinking outside the box to deliver something that honestly is very different in terms of design. That said, I'm not so sure I could put something together that would suit it's styling... But sure is a good way to stand out from the crowd. Your very right, video card makers should take note.
