Ah yes. One of the greatest existential crisis videos from Kurzgesagt.

kurzgesagt: lets simplify it so more people could understand
dylan: no

I would love to watch a video entirely about quasars and pulsars explained by you, they are so fascinating!! Much love from Italy <3

Can two particles remain entangled even if one is past the event horizon of a black hole?

Dude would love a newsletter .... Might not be able to watch streams due to time zone differences but maybe if it was available in written format.

Also wanted to say I discovered your YouTube channel recently and I'm loving your content and ideas. Have you ever thought about reacting to Sabine hossenfelder, doing a solo video about the topics you find the most interesting in the field of physics. Also gotta say that your optimism regarding aliens is refreshing. Cheers bro

Great video as always. Can't wait for the VPN. I signed up just waiting for the email.

The idea of 'Everything stays at the event horizon' is a bit misleading but is easier to work with, its more likely that whatever is sucked into the center stays a tiny bit offset from the rest of the matter, slowly approaching but never reaching perfect alignment, you can see how long ago something fell in by how close it is to alignment and a very very very very tiny anomaly in the gravity of the black hole from the offset mass, likely less significant than the radius of a proton and barely readable but still present. The matter itself is stuck inside until it decays to nothing but its presence pushes out the event horizon a near unnoticeable amount, allowing observation from outside the event horizon.

The Firewall proposal was mentioned in the first Black Hole video made by Kurzgesagt.

Would be cool to see your take on the Neutron Star video made by Kurzgesagt.

i never quite understand the hawking radiation thing, if that virtual particles dont actually exist what does the black hole radiate? because, if its losing its mass, that means something that was part of the black hole is no longer part of the black hole so i assume the black hole still radiates some particle or energy that are not virtual particles right? so what is it? and how does the black hole emit it from its inside if nothing can actually escape its inside? does this question make sense?

Can black holes destroy information if it can never fall in?
Time dilation becomes infinite at the event horizon.
But then what happens when they evaporate? Wouldn't it just evaporate before you fall in?

So I realized there has to be infinite space in a black hole because they bend space and time into a sigularity that means everything riding on that surface will bend with it. Thus when going through a black hole time continues regularly with the object riding that. However if they were to look outward, time space and time would be moving away faster and faster just like how our universe does. So maybe we are in a black hole and dark energy is just the effect of that black hole gravity. That would explain how we got here too. Time would pass the same for us until we looked out. So the universe is actually 2D but wrapped like a cone and the center is wherever the observer is since it's technically an infinitely spaced sphere.

So where and what exactly claims that information cannot be lost.

What definition of information are we using.

3:40 Wow! Thats a really intresting topic! But does this mean that if a black hole swallows a pocket of dark energy, it will get counteracted, and the black hole will get destroyed or something? Like, which would win, the *anti*-gravitational expansion force of the dark energy pocket or the black hole's crushing *inward* gravity?

I'm curious, why didn't you have the video be fullscreen?
Having the website boarder is really distracting.

0D Monad is strong nuclear force
1D Line is weak magnetic force
2D Plane is electromagnetic force
3D Volume is gravitational force
(Gravity should be Ether)

Dylan please watch the kurzgesagt neutron star video next, it's one of my favorites and I'd love to see you react to it

If the Universe is just some kind of Hologram or maybe even a simulation...How is it that we are able to observe cosmic background radiation, big bang and stuff?
Can someone answer this please?

please note one thing. Kurzgesagt always talk about blackholes that dont spin for as a means to simplify stuff

Do I understand it correctly, the answer to whether it is possible to discover the black hole using entangled particles (one sent into it, the other measured), the answer is: "We just don't know"? How does it work that breaking entanglement releases massive energy? What order of magnitude is this energy when breaking the entanglement between two electrons?
