1991 Honda CRX Vtec review and walkaround

This is my 1991 Honda CRX Vtec EE8. It is a projectcar that I bought a couple of weeks ago. It has a B16a1 engine from the factory. The Honda CRX Vtec sound is awesome. Vtec kicks in around 5500rpm and it goes pretty good up to 8200rpm. This feels like a mini turbo kicking in. It is all original and stock witch is rare for these cars. I would like to build a Honda CRX Vtec Turbo but this one is to Clean and original. Basically this will probably be a Honda CRX Vtec restoration in the future. No tuning will be done.

The EUDM EE8 CRX has the B16a1 engine with 150hp. I first started learning about the B16 when I saw a B16 turbo at an event. The B16 is a legendary engine. The b16 sound is nice. Especially when you hear a b16 ITB. 0-100 kmpu is around 7 seconds stock. Topspeed is around 220 kmpu. It is similar to the JDM EF8 CRX but there are some differences. The EF8 has the B16A engine with 160hp. The EE8 on the other hand has got an all leather interior and glass headlights.

Looks like quite some work and some parts will probably be hard to find. But it will be worth it i guess.
