In journalism, some stories leave marks not only on the page but also on those who tell them. Swedish journalist Rasmus Canbäck has dedicated his work to documenting the stories of Artsakh.

During his visit to Armenia, Rasmus presented his book, I Die Slowly Every Day—a rare firsthand account of life in Artsakh after the 2020 war. As the last foreign journalist to enter the region in March 2021, his testimony captures the human cost of blockade, displacement, and life under constant threat.

At a time when independent voices are increasingly at risk, his work underscores the vital role journalists play in bearing witness—especially in conflicts where silence itself becomes a weapon.

The book is available for order by contacting Rasmus directly on Instagram.
