The arm rest slides forward, the options list is not quite as stated the SE is a bit basic. the SE Tech I would say is a the sweet spot, but you will still be reaching for the options list for rear view camera and auto dipping mirror and le tric seats for example, as a lease the HSE was a bit a a p ice hit

It does on the 2017 Evoque.

It comes in petrol too. 177kW and 340Nm. I have one. The petrol is the far better option than the diesels - and peak torque starts at 1750rpm.

Come on Rebecca, please test these SUVs off-road as well, my Freelander 2 spends25% of its life in the bush and mud. I can't replace it with a softer SUV, is this one better than its predecessor?

Even as a privilege customer I wouldn't pay the extra couple of grand for 60 odd BHP..180bhp spec HSE Sport Black was brilliant to drive (last weekend)..

I was seriously considering one.

I read the forums and where some makes have reliability issues with minor things, true to form, JLR have exploding engines and they will just not accept accountability.
Even the windscreens leak/fall out due to no bonding and even on this point, JLR say they are not liable.

Absolute clown cars.
