As a lifelong Dawgs fan, I don’t know any Georgia fan who doesn’t respect Alabama and what they’ve done and continue to do, Bama is probably the primary reason, along with Georgia has done the last few years, why the SEC is so respected. I am a 62-year-old Bama fan and this guy just insulted the Bama nation in a very snobby way. In my lifetime, UGA has always been a good team under the coaches of Vince Dooley, Mark Richt and now Kirby Smart. Just like Bama, they had some challenging years with Ray Goff and Jim Donnan but they were not pitiful coaches either. Said all that to say this, give the teams the proper respect, especially if you are a so-called analysis. That goes for Bama people too. I'll get my digs into UGA and expect the same from them. I think he’s spot on in terms of how many (not all) Georgia people think. I’ve seen it on YouTube, I’ve heard it for years after Smart was hired, they were waiting for Saban to retire because in their minds, Alabama is a zero program without Nick Saban, and once he retired, the younger (and they believe better than Saban) protege would go on a magical run of dominance and the student would surpass the master…whelp…how’s that working for you dawgs?
