Linux Mint Edge ISO & Why You Should Use it.
The Edge ISO (21.3) is essentially a variant of the main Linux Mint 21.3 release, which comes with only the Cinnamon edition. The only difference is that it ships with a newer kernel compared to the standard ISO. This newer kernel boasts support for the latest hardware components, particularly processors and chipsets released after the main stable kernel version was finalized.

Manure, you can install the 6.5 kernel on the regular Linux Mint. I am currently running it right now.

it ist wonderful. I like it much. I've tried to install a modern laptop 17´' from Hp. But it does not works with the most distros I tried about 10 or 12 distro. no wlan. no ethernet. no blutooth. So I have tried linux mint Edge. It works. Thank you . The comlete Hardware works fine. Without any problem I could install all what I want to do. Thank you.

Edge in my Virtual Machine cant handle sound in Youtube videos. really choppy. have re installed it 3 times..same result every time. crap. Besides if it is Microsoft involved, then I have trust issues.

Not quite correct. Edge is more unstable. More like a gamble. Hit or miss.
