Congratulations! You've been admitted into college, but now what? Director of international recruitment operations at Arizona State University, Cesar Flores Marquez, talks about the touchpoints that universities will have with a student and next steps for being prepared to go to college.

Next steps include things like..
-Activating your student ID
-Applying for scholarships
-Filling out the FAFSA
-Confirming your attendance by paying an enrollment deposit
-Registering for orientation
-Securing housing and university meal plans
-Determining what student records parents need access to

Cesar Flores Marquez reminds students that being proactive is the key to being successful as a college student. Unlike high school, students need to act independently to submit documents on time and register for classes. Remember to ask for help if you need it. Colleges don't expect you to be an expert at going to college. If you feel like you are missing information or something doesn't make sense to you, reach out to your institution of choice and ask for help. Representatives are standing by and excited to help you start your next chapter off on the right foot.

I really help here, my brother has applied for Arizona university and from the look of the process looks a little shady to us. Please I want to use this platform to clear some doubt. He has received an email that, he has been admitted and needs to create NETID account, after he has to pay $450 for enrollment but before that, he has already paid $85 for application. Once he pays the $450 enrollment fees, then he can move to the next step to request for I-20 form. Please this is a process legit or scam. Maybe we are dealing with the wrong website as our thoughts. Can folks help to clearly

My son is freshman at ASU in Mesa AZ. And his going to be attending there fore his sophomore year again but he can’t get room for his sophomore year because they are full please help me help him get a room on campus for his sophomore year. He is very clean and good student that it won’t be a problem for him to get along with others. He has been there for his freshman year he really enjoys it. Thank you! For any info that might help me get him in for the next year.

Hi, I'm an international student. Do you need to be accepted to the school of engineering first before you apply for the engineering scholarships or you apply for the scholarships along side your normal application?

I have some questions, I need help😭 ~I have a set college that i want to go to and i'm starting my senior year in high school soon. For the college i want to go to i'm also going to be moving to that state. I've heard that for in state tuition you have to be a state resident for 2 years? i'm not sure but if so, I was planning on moving there and then waiting the two years so I can get in state tuition? and so i can also save up the money i need to pay for college. Lets say I apply this year(my senior year) and get accepted, how long after I get accepted do I have to pay my tuition and all my costs? Also how long after getting accepted do you actually start college? Do I have the two year time span I need after getting accepted? Do I have to apply during my senior year or should I apply after graduating/moving? If so when should i apply? ~I'm so sorry if that's a lot of questions!! I'm new to all the college stuff still and it confuses me, I don't know what to do:(
