I truly hope this becomes a reality! Suppressors will instantly drop in price and be bought like hotcakes.

ANYTHING that imposes, regulates. And/or infringes on ANY right, is illegal, and NEEDS to be ABOLISHED IMMEDIATELY!!!

I'm glad to hear my rep signed onto this bill.
It probably won't go anywhere but at least she actually practices what she preaches

I love how these bills only get introduced during a split congressional session and have no chance of passing

This isn't gonna go anywhere. They always push these kinds of bills when they know nothing happens just got political posturing

The problem is that bills like this never get introduced when we have control of senate and congress. The only way I see something like this happening is if a NFA case makes it to the Supreme Court under Bruen. The NFA, GCA, and the Hughes Amendment all need to be repealed.

It won't be passed. But we can dream. At least such a thing has come this far. Maybe our kids will see this come to fruition

This is a step in the right direction for the 2A community. We shouldn’t stop until this is passed.

I live in a state where I am not required to register any of the firearms I might own. And any I may own were purchased person to person therefore no record of a purchase. The great state of TN.

I hope this goes through. To be able to have suppressors and SBRs without all the crap we have to put up with would be nice.

We don’t have to only hope…. Call you state and federal reps daily. Email them. If they have social media go there too. Fight and never stop fighting!!!

Sadly, this will never make it out of the Senate, nor would Brandon ever sign it.

So someone NEEDS to challenge the NFA of 1986 in the courts to get it to the Supreme Court and make them decide whether the Federal Government has the power to regulate firearms at all.

These tyrants need to be shut down full force. 🇺🇸
Thank you Armed Scholar!

It is an important symbolic vote. It will pass the House, but wont pass the Senate this time.

However eventually, if we keep fighting it will pass the House, Senate and there will eventually be a President who will sign it.

That being said, we still need to keep chipping away at it in the courts, specifically the 5th circuit.

These bills are fun and all but they never come to fruition

I want this to go some where! I really do. The problem is the NFA gives the government a lot of money each year. If you follow the cash, you see the government's intentions.

Agree I don’t think this is going anywhere right now. It would be the 2nd best thing for the 2A community ever. It seems like for every one pro 2A bill written there are a dozen that are trying to strip it away
