For your next classic can I beat the pole lap, you should try to beat Massa’s 2008 Singapore pole lap as Singapore was the most recent race or Vettel’s 2012 United States pole lap as COTA is the next race

I actually really liked this track on f1 2020. You had the very long back straight for overtaking but also the last section was very tight but satisfying to get right, I don’t think it would work with this gen of cars irl (even though it does in a game)

P/S: This track doesn't exist in my city but hopefully, one day, it will become a fictional race track in Real Racing 3 (like Melbourne)

I personally feel like this track fares better as a Formula E track, given Vietnam having a significant electric car market and the tight corners that can present an overtaking opportunity for the smaller and nimble FE cars…but this is a good “what if…” scenario. Cheers for the race!

This track actually looks and feels really good to race at. Despite all the criticism and drama, I think this track would have made a great addition to the calendar. Maybe not with the previous generation of cars, but def with the ground effect cars we have today.

Hanoi imo is kind of a boring track but it would be fun to actually see a race there

"Why not just bring it back, " probably because a lack of licensing and use of a track/area that didn't have a GP in the first place. You could ask the same for Hockenhiem, which had voice lines recorded, but was never added, which is either licensing, FOM, or an EA decision at the end of the day.

F1 2020 actually has this track. This track is difficult. Although the straight line is long. The corners are very difficult to control. Especially in the third time period. The corners near the end are a bit unpredictable.

There is about as much chance of this GP happening as there is for F1 to come back to India. Unfortunately I don’t see this track promoting good racing even if it would be challenging for drivers to drive and judge. The corners with multiple lines possible to take through there look good.
