I’ve been having some pretty terrible foot pain these last few months and the “3 signs it isn’t” section of the video might more helpful for me to find clues about what’s been ailing me. I hope you guys include more of those in the rest of the series.

You are absolutely on target with differentiating, between the two, Bob and Brad!!! Even some providers don't know this! In my opinion, of course!

About 10 years ago I had plantar fasciitis and one time it was so painful that I had to call for a ride home from a store because I couldn't even walk. I went to a foot store for inserts..got a little better, but still had problems. I bought Sketchers with memory foam and my feet got better and I've never had any problems

This was ridiculously helpful! I absolutely have plantar fasciitis my arch is sore, when I sit it diminishes but still achy and then when I get up it hurts again. I live In a wrap now lol and it’s helping!

I love this video!! yeah I don't have plantar fasciitis and the dr who talked over and didn't listen to me ... should have listened and not talked over me.
been doing massage and stretching for plantar with no avail (stretching when you get the ankle involved actually caused the pain in my heel to trigger)... a few minutes relaxing the calf muscle with a tenz, the back of my heel feels better and i can do the stretches further... and the calf extensions (from ground up, not from a sharper angle) helps too.

Thanks guys for the videos. I'm confused - I have more pain in the back of the heel rather than under the arch. This would suggest that it is not Plantar Fasciitis. However, I got an MRI and it say I had mild PF. I get pain when I walk on my foot not in the morning so this is confusing. How can you definitively confirm if it's Bursitis or Heel Spur or issues with the Fat Pad?

I have plantar fasciitis for going on 6 months now. It seriously sucks and impedes my life a lot. I’m 29, I have three kids under the age of 9 and it makes doing things with them so difficult. For the first two months, it was like walking on LEGO for 8hrs a day.

Luckily, I rediscovered this channel and identified the problem (a bad pair of shoes) and it improved somewhat over the following month, though I still feel a lot of pain, especially in the morning or standing for long periods of time (I sometimes shed a few silent tears while making breakfast). Because I’ve adjusted how I walk due to the pain, my kinetic chain is all messed up and has caused issues with my ankle and knee on my left side. They are constantly aching and feel sprained.

I have always had a high-ish arch and worn heeled boots (not terribly high and thin heels, mind you, just a few inches and thick [thats what she said, LOL!]). I never had any problems with my feet, even now if I put my boots on, it feels so much better. But I can’t run or play with my kids in heeled boots. I feel completely trapped by my feet.

I. Hate. Those. Shoes. Didn’t throw em away though 😂😂 I might burn them ceremoniously.

My sister in law has that. Are there any excercises you can do to help stop the pain? As always another great video Ty Bob & Brad

Hi, what about heel pain and swelling of foot ?

Hey Docs. I would like to get your opinion on something. I was born with no arch in my foot so I am flat footed. However, my feet pronate and I get really bad pain in my feet after working outside or walking for long periods of time or being on my feet for long. I am trying to figure out what to do. I don’t want to have surgery because honestly I would be off of my feet for way too long. I just want to learn how to not pronate anymore and to teach myself how to walk properly. Do you guys have any suggestions? This is something that I should have corrected when I was younger but I want to focus on this. God bless you guys. Thanks

Bob and Brad I watch your shows all the time. I have a problem. One morning I woke up with big toe hurting, and also the large bone connected to big toe underneath. Do you know what this may be. I need your guys help please? Please respond explain what it may be. Thanks Janet.

I was treated years ago for what I was told was plantar fasciitis (still have the splint I wore to bed). The pain went away for some years and has returned. The pain is in the heel, not the arch. It eases during sleep and roars back in the morning (those first steps are extremely painful). After walking a bit, it dissipates. After walking at work, I sit down at home and it comes back.

I think I have it but it's not everyday, do you think the humidity and the barometer the air pressure has anything to do with it.?
