You’re supposed to mix the matcha powder with hot (not boiling) water to make a paste and then add the milk, it’s meant to froth and be whisked together as part of the ritual. Plus it won’t clump like that… then when the milk is added it’s gorgeous and silky.

Here’s how to ACTUALLY make the best matcha tea latte (don’t come for me saying it’s too sweet I’m sorry I like my sweet drinks)
2 tablespoons of milder matcha
About 1 half cup of cold water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Use milk froth to mix
Put ice in a cup, 4/4 of the way full, and add milk
Add matcha

Yall gotta make sure your matcha powder is mixed rlly well. Id recommend using either a whisk, a protein shaker bottle, or a milk frother. A spoon stir isnt effiicient enough. You know u did it correctly when the mixture is frothy yum yum

I spend 6 to 8 bucks on a few matcha drinks before. I don't how it cost so much. I like the taste. But they don't give you a big cup size of it like burger king/mcdonald big giant cups. They give me a small cup and call it a large...half of the time they don't fill it all the way. So i figure i should make my own from now on

Make sure you get quality matcha! Ensure the place knows about the harvest etc! Bad matcha will put you off haha. I recommend Matcha Botanicals (EU/US) or OMGtea (UK only, but not as good)

The real recipe that I do

1- one small spoon of matcha

2- add sugar and vanilla

3- add hot water

4 mix it until you see so many bubbles

5- add ice in the cup

6- add milk any type of milk I like to add vanilla milk

7- add the matcha
