How to properly grease brake pads and avoid brake squeaks

I like putting the grease under the hardware that way it doesn’t gum up the ability for the pads to slide in the hardware

A little anti-seize on the backs of the pads where it contacts the calliper will stop the noise.

Had my breaks done recently.
As well as bearings and rotors tyroid then but still squeaks when turning right

If it's been back twice like you said and no one noticed it than that's a problem because it means your shop isn't doing a good job. Y'all should've noticed that the first time

Guess it depends on where you live. Ive never greased the shims and never had and issue.
