It might just be me but I feel like Matt does just what most of us car fans would love to do. Have ten grand sitting around and spending it on something old and in need of a good home. Love it.

There is something lovely about 2000’s cars. Modern enough to have all the gear you need, not new enough to have all the crap you don’t.
I hope you enjoy this car for a very long time, Matt

Great pick up. That will be a lovely example when the dings are pulled out and sprayed. I am particularly impressed that the previous owner managed what appears to be perfectly symmetrical damage to the front bumper.

You're about 10 years ahead of me. It took me until I was about 15 to turn 40 and desire a MK 3 Granada.

My 03 L322 was Giverney green with cream leather. As you say a really classy colour. Looked great in Kensington, equally great in a muddy field, and best of all, muddy in Kensington. As a new one I had no engine issues (or indeed anything at all) in the two years I had it, and it remains the most comfortable non-Citroen I've had (nothing has ever come close to my SM). It was a Vogue so had the superlative comfort seats like yours. Yours will tidy up very nicely and count me jealous. Too many are interfered with - an electrician mentioned when chatting (normal Devon tradesmen behaviour) his air struts had both gone, then he mentioned he'd put 22 inch alloys on it. Hello, that extra rubber was designed as part of the suspension set up. I shall enjoy how you get on, oh, and I was considerably older man than you at 5. I bought Vivaldi's Four Seasons...

Very nice indeed. If I'm honest, I prefer the looks of this one to most of the more modern ones you've featured in other videos. It's just very clean and as we all know, 'less is more'.

Those are great cars, in my opinion the best ever made. Seats were so comfortable, I can go on and on.. you bring me a lot of good memories reviewing such a beauty. Please bring up more videos on this particular l322. Thanks for sharing it with us and creating this absolutely awesome channel. Thanks again.

I was part of that team that designed & developed that _Jaguar_ 4.4 V8.
It was JLR by then but the V8 range of engines, starting with the AJ26, started life at Jaguar, at Whitley, Coventry. This is where all subsequent Jaguar/JLR V8s were designed & developed by pretty much the same team.

Enjoy the Range Rover, I’ve always loved the older ones but have always been fearful of the mechanics. You have the know how & the connections to make it work!

What an absolute stunner 😍 the interior colour and condition look amazing. Can’t wait to see how this progresses. Well done 👏🏻

Stunning, honest car Matt. Just goes to show that new isn't always better. Just hope that you've budgeted an extra 7-10 grand for when everything goes wrong on it, but even then you'll still own this beauty and still love it

Want to do the same. I think the sport will be more desirable as it's got a smaller footprint but thats more classier

Not true about dogs from the pound - thousands of them are put down because of comments like this. A dog you rescue will be the most grateful creature you have ever known and you will be saving a soul from a horrible fate. We've had two and they have been exceptional. Most everyone in our neighborhood have a similar experience.

Would you look at turning this project into a monthly vlog/update? Bringing it back into pristine condition will be great watch

I have a 2010 L322, a similar spec and everything you said makes perfect sense. To find a 2006 model in good nick is a rarity, my 2010 was pristine with a new engine and both turbos 40k miles before, still drives like new

Would love one. I like that shape better than the current. I’d like a Westminster but I worry about reliability. However I loved my disco 4 landmark and had no real issues
