An Australian in the outback once said, if you want to get to a remote location buy a Land Rover, if you want to get there and back, buy a Toyota.

Rumor has it 90% of Range Rovers are still on the road...
The other 10% made it to the repair facility under their power while the others are on the road still waiting for a recovery vehicle.

I learned this the hard way. Purchased a 2011 LR4 maybe two years back and its been one of the worst financial decisions I've EVER made! Absolute nightmare and I'm a mug for getting it.

My mechanic “I love Rovers, they make me a ton of money!”

The heated rear window was really good as it kept your hands warm when pushing your Range Rover in the winter!

Because there is about $5000 to $10, 000 of "deferred" maintenance on them. You know, the maintenance the 2nd/3rd owner could not afford to do.

Because they’re garbage and one repair is your mortgage for the month lol

You only live once… get what you want. I have an RR and only have to change oil, tires, brakes and normal maintenance and it has been very reliable. We have to live with the choices we make and I like what I like. Not about the status. All vehicles lose their value the moment they leave the lot.

My parents have been driving a Range Rover and Land Rover since 2002 and NEVER had an issues. Perhaps buyers should maintain their vehicles better? Take care of your ride and your ride will take care of you.

My sister with her big retail job, buying a 2016 Range Rover sport despite all the warnings abound. I am not sure what the mileage was, but she paid $27K in 2021. Not to be told what to do, by anyone, she "always wanted one" and it had to be silver. The tire monitors were on when she bought it and there have been electrical issues with infotainment, rear windows and something wrong with rear suspension and recalls were not addressed by the last owner. She is still driving it and will do so until it is dead in the road.

I had a 2014 rr sport HSE and the second my warranty was up i had my own mechanics work on it for anything that i needed. And i have to say i was lucky and never had any issues. i had it serviced, changed brakes etc at a normal price not the rr prices. I've had a great experience with my car. People, it is ok to go with your local mechanics to fix your cars they know what they're doing. Just do your research and you'll find amazing mechanics out there and you'll be paying a low price for fixing your car. (any car) rr even wanted to charge me $310 to change my cabin and engine filters, i said i can change it myself and i did. It was sooo easy. There are things we can do/fix on our cars that we don't know but that can be very simple to do.

My old boss used to say rich people buy Mercedes, BMW, ranger over, jaguar, and stupid people buy those cars used, because they want to show what they don't have.

I just bought a 1 owner, 2013 HSE Supercharged 5.0 with 174k miles, absolute mint inside and out, runs and drives like new, Ill be doing all the peventive maintenance myself soon, complete cooling system refresh, timing chains, air struts, previous first owner had just replaced the water pump and a few cooling system parts, but i see all the plastic parts are ready to go, original sticker price was $127k in 2013 😂, I bought it for $109k less at $18k 10 years later and it still drives like new, I only want it to last 4 years and it'll be another lawn ornament next to my 05 RR that still runs like new and passes California smog like nothing.

My wife wants a Range Rover when we retire. I had to remind her what the dealership said last time we bought her a car. We were looking a a Range Rover and the salesperson told us NOT to buy a Range Rover because they are repair nightmares. We got a 2010 Lexus RX350 about 8 or 9 years ago. We never had any issues with the Lexus.

Used Range Rovers make sense if you are relatively handy and can do a lot of your own maintenance. They're honestly not that bad. However, this is a small fraction of the car buying public; if you are not this person, don't buy a used one unless you can afford the maintenance on a $100k vehicle.

these are cars you lease for 3 years, enjoy, and then get rid of.

No problems with my Range Rover. Just have to maintain them You should never buy what you can't afford to maintain. Buy an extended warranty if used.

Crazy !! I’ve been looking at Range Rovers on the Facebook marketplace!! I was wondering why a 2 or 3 year old $100K vehicle is now $50K or in some cases $35K. Wow !!

If an older Range appears in an action movie, you can be sure it will crash or blow up. No one wants to buy them used so they usually end up like bad boy getaway cars in movies.

Hopefully Range Rover starts watching this channel and starts making some changes.
