I am 14 currently and my mom owns this car. It is my childhood and i cannot wait to get a driver's license and drive it.

However my mom has already taught me how to drive it which is cool :)

At 1:37 why didnt the rear had power?

Looking at these as well as the 2.0i. Goal is just to have a small 4wd car for the weekends

Awd is not 4wd-there are pros and cons to both.I have the awd 03 rav4, I seriously love this car-it is a pure joy to drive! The last dozen or so cars I've had, were sports cars, (I'm in my sixties), but the truth of the matter is, for most driving you do, you really have no use for the high speed and handling capabilities a sports car gives you, plus there a pain to get in and out of, your visibility isn't that good, they're so low you scrap on stuff all the time

Hi, I think this car can be fitted with a diff E- locker for off-roading.

Unfortunately this isn't an AWD car but rather a somewhat flawed 4WD. Most of the time it relies on FWD alone and it's very visible in some instances in the video. When it detects slippage, it sends a little bit of power to the rear wheels, and that's it, and that system may fail to actually engage. I think of this car as a FWD and nothing else. It also handles and drives like a FWD pretty much.
