I didn’t get that until after the fight so I just parried him a lot. The easiest move to parry is that attack when he rolls towards you before he hits you.

For the first half of his fight, just parry and visceral attack him, one he talks about the smell of blood play the music box and just wail away on him, then when he transforms play the box again and kill him before he does anything

Naw just keep going no blood vials and stock up bullets for parry eventually you can get decent enough to pretty much kill him in about 2 minutes at least my first time playing through it right now is what I did on the way to the third boss already killed the two hunters in old yarnham saw a lot of notes that’s said they were hard but not really maybe the one in the open but I kinda gimmicked him ngl

Honestly using the music box he turns to his beast form alot earlier so just fight standard till he reaches his beast form then use the box to stun him
