Thanks for the walkthough but this is anything but simple for a fix

If you have a soldering iron and some skill (these are sub 30awg wires) you can do this. If this is your first solder job—consider asking a friend or go to a professional. This is not a very easy fix but I wouldn’t say it’s intermediate either. And if you use magnification you can greatly increase your chances of success! Thanks for the video. I didn’t know what to expect before

I have had the same issue on the beats solo2 and on the solo3 as well.
I binned the solo2 and was about to do the same with my solo3 but after giving it ( the right ear cup) a few hard taps it came back to life and has been working smoothly ever since. I am not advocating banging the crap out of the headset but it saved mine from the garbage bin 🤷‍♂️

The solution worked, just soldered the wire and it works!

I don't have the tools (and it's not *that* simple). How much would you charge to fix mine? 🤔

Could please help me? My right side only works when I twist the earcup a bit. What should I do?

When I fold the left side of my beats the sound on the right side starts playing, but when I extend the left side to put it over my head the sound on the right side stops playing.

It works when they are connected by the auxiliary cable, but when using them wirelessly you hear a very annoying sound on the right side. Help me please

As mentioned before, I am experiencing the same issue when blutooth playing: static noise is present.
When the headphones are playing on cable there isnt any static.
Do you have any advice to avoid the static noise when blutooth playing?
Maybe using a shielded cable?
Thanks!!

Thank you so much for the walkthrough! The solution worked for the most part and the right side now plays again. However, a new issue popped up that I'm wondering if you experienced as well. When playing music via Bluetooth there is a high pitched noise in the background on the fixed right side that is more evident when volume of the music is lower. When I pause the music, the noise stops a few seconds after.

The headphones appear to work noise-free through the wire, however the main reason I got them in the first place is to listen wirelessly. Do you know by chance why this is happening?

How about the case when right speaker does not work only when wireless but both speakers works wired?

Since the headphones have a high pitch sound from Bluetooth ground wire, would it be okay if I hook it up straight to the battery?

I have a unique issue, right ear when using Bluetooth doesn't work, but when I use with audio jack there's no problem. Not sure what is going on there with that. (Beats Solo3)
