This video demonstrates how to correctly carry over the remaining stock from your first setup into your second setup in #Fusion360's Manufacturing / #CAM Workspace, effectively to 'Continue Rest Machining' from Previous Setup. The key thing here, is to make sure your Model is contained within it's own Component and that your 2nd setup uses a repositioned copy of the original Component.

That was helpful. Thanks!

But I spent the last few minutes checking my FB Messenger wondering why I heard it go off but didn't have any messages. LOL

It Worked Beautifully!
i have Wondered how to do this since Comparison was available in toolpath Simulation.
i have Use the Rob Lockwood Container method and there you make a Copy of the "fixtur" aka the vice and joint it on the opposite to OP1.

Vice op2 ( it would be easier to show a picture)

Interesting video, but since you have removed the stock in OP1 your OP2 semi finished part will not be in the location you show, but will have to have a different Z height and likelu be on parallels or in soft jaws, and you cannot probe x, y, z.

You clearly need to remove the "hat" before you can probe x and y, and you cannot remove the hat unless you can manage to set the proper Z height. That piece was the relavant information I was hoping to find in your video

I have my components listed as Component1:1 and then Component2:1. I'm guessing this might matter in linking them with the previous component. How do I make it so the 2nd one is Component1:2 instead?
