Wow Lars!! This was almost a year ago and now, as always I find you in my moment of need. You and your insights are ageless. Thank you yet again!

Mister Lars, your videos add so much value to Fusion 360 ! Without knowledge the best software remains a useless tool - Your videos about it's usage makes its value perceived and appreciated. Congratulation to you and to Autodesk for your time and efforts.

Thank you Lars, getting into Double sided CAM with my Shapeoko3 XL. Glad my search brought you up to show me how :)

Good info on making soft jaws, programing adaptive clearing, etc. Was hoping to learn how to make the mill stop so you can turn the part over and how to start it again (manual mill?), how to ensure accurate contour blending when cutting both sides, etc.

Lars, this is pretty old now.
Is there a dynamic replacement export to STL for opp 2.
It seems like it would be the right thing to have op 1, 2, linked so everything dynamically updates.

This LarsLive was exactly what I needed right now. About to mill a part and never seen any videos on the cam for flipping a part. Thanks Lars. Can you explain the “rest machining” function in F360?

This is an awesome video - too bad I found it 3 yrs later but it confirms many of the things I have self learned - and did learn one or two tricks. Thank you

Lars, this was very useful. Esp the tip about creating a feature on the fixed soft jaw as a reliable pick up point. Thanks.

Hello good afternoon,

First thanks for very informative videos.
I understand the idea, you create a gabari for the part.
You do the hole in jaw for create a start point for the second operation.
How you zero the machine, you insert the tool in the hole?
I am beginer.

Hi Lars.
I've got a 3018 cnc and think everything about F360 i can use with my little mill is super interresting (all time consuming mentaly😄)
Thanks for making my learning curve les steap😉

Why did you change the settings right around 15:50? Seems like the default settings for that operation were initially what you would have needed instead of adjusting it...

Hi Lars. Went through your 5 cam basic vids, they helped a lot, thank you. If you had to machine a 20x20x30 mm block of steel with profiles on each face. How would you hold it?

Why doesn't my second setup inherit the stock that results from the operations in my first setup?

Are soft jaws basically your only option for holding contoured shapes?
Is it a reliable enough system to work from accurately or would you need to probe the half machined part?
I know you've mentioned the pick up hole.

Hey Lars, great videos mate very informative no idea how I would have got this far without them. One thing that really irks me about Fusion as you mention is the inability to carry over remaining stock to subsequent operations. This was never really an issue for myself as I never had a CNC machine, but now that I have one I am really feeling the pain... STL is just not reliable enough for sure. I can see posts going back to 2015 about this but can't seem to find anything on the Roadmap to support this feature being implemented or even looked at.

Is this just going to have to be something we live with or can we expect an update in the near future? Myself personally prefer ease of life updates than nice new shiny features ;)

Keep up the good work. Cheers J

The hole you drilled at the end. Do you have a video explaining it? Love your videos btw! Please keep it up!
