Why tf didn’t they make the light radahn swords a stance ash where you can use either ash depending on the input!? Then you could maybe get decent damage with rellanas cameo.

Changing sword lance to blood affinity, giving it blood tax, and using ansbach's armor set (buffs dynastic skills) is SUPER strong. Just throwing that out there.

I SAILED through the gale thanks to the Gazing Finger. The Skill on it is a corridor cleaner. I used not to like the R2, but it tracks enemies quite well. Letting you use a fully charge Skill when they stand up, only to be launched up again. Rinse and repeat.

Hmm it would seem I picked wrong final boss remembrance weapon...
But I also got miracle of miquella and while not being the strongest, watching a dragon get hit with an orbital Lazer is pretty damn satisfying

The best part of the DLC is that you can beat the entire thing. Get all their weapons and just finish the main game in one fell swoop. 😊

So ima try to get the twin blades and get the age of stars ending for my first run (yes even though I might get spoiled I don’t care I love this game regardless)

HI, wanted to give the info you probably already know but the reason the Greatsword of Damnation does holy and doesn’t have fenzy proc is more lore reason it was used as a torturing device to cause eternal pain while seemingly quelling the frenzied flame and it was done as a holy punishment by the hornsent

I think I would have liked Mesmer’s Spear more if it had some slashing attacks in the moveset. Just the pure poking attacks is kinda boring. The ash of war is amazing though.

I kinda disagree I like the radan light more than lord, but u don’t wanna charge it just quick taps to gap close, otherwise u spam a jump attacks and get ez power stance with bonk wepons

They definitely shouldn't of given us 2 more of the exact same sword that we already have for the final boss of the dlc. Especially for the caliber of the fight. They could have put both new specials on one sword like the did with rellanas swords. That's probably the most disappointing thing about the dlc. Other than that the only issues I have is the large un eventful areas and all the low grade smithing stones

Sword lance should be on the first place. It has colossal level of status buildup when infused, while retaining access to ashes like repeating thrust and seppuku. On another hand weapons with throwing animation loose access to good poise damage. Yes impaler and paired swords are fun but you can't make them nearly as broken as sword lance

I enjoyed this helpful review of these weapons. I just have not been able to get Mesmer’s spear to work well for me. The ash of war is awesome, but I find it’s pretty hard to get all three parts off without getting knocked out of it because more powerful enemies tend to move very fast and I really want the third part for the real damage. Might be my play style: I don’t like getting knocked out of animations and usually build around hyper armour items.

You know they could add at least 2 more dlc
DLC 2 the Badlands where Godfrey is Exiled
DLC 3 The Outer Gods where the Player can interact or fight Godwyn the Golden

I'll have to try that spear, I've only really used the sunflower and I was quite impressed with how much jump heavy damage and poise it did but I can understand not liking the ash of war, so hard to get the entire thing off
